I thank God for my family, for good health, and for friends...
And sometimes, when it's 9pm the night before my last day of school and Trice's last day at the babysitter (even if we will probably be at her house a minimum of twice a week this summer) and every store that you had considered buying a gift certificate to and every chocolate gift shop has closed... those are the times I thank God for Pinterest.
..and my supreme hoarding skills!
Disclaimer: At 11:00pm, there was NO natural light for taking pictures. Deal with it. I did my best and I'm WAY too lazy to edit out the basketball in the background or the scraps of paper from writing the same message 5,000 times before deciding it was symmetrical enough to make the cut.
So without further hesitation rambling, I hereby present my gifts in a basket courtesy of Pinterest because no one has original ideas anymore... But really, why didn't I dream up the idea to walk around Walmart grabbing everything yellow off the shelves?!
A basket full of sunshine for my co-teacher:
Contents (I was slightly limited due to our Walmart selection... turns out no matter how many times you walk through the aisle, a yellow summer-y water cup will NOT appear)
-Lemon
-Crystal Light Lemonade Packets
-Yellow Candle
-Peanut M&Ms
-Yellow Loofah
-Yellow packaged foot scrub
-Yellow Chapstick
-Yellow dish towel
-Wheat Thins (clearly didn't make the cut so I guess I'll have to eat them. Whoops!)
-I already had the glass container at home from a baby shower I hosted
For Trice's babysitter:
"For Always Keeping You On Your Toes!" Basket (I DID make up the saying myself. Bonus!)
Contents: Pretty Obvious. I also had this green basket sitting around! Hoarders unite.
We are SO grateful for how much Nicole loves our little guy. I'm so blessed to be able to stay-at-home with him, but lucky she is willing to take such great care of him the few hours I do work/week. She has become a great friend, and I just pretty much love her.
And for my dancers .. wait, wait, waaaaait a minute... that's next week.
Now off to bed to get approximately 4 hours of sleep (if I'm lucky!)
