Our refridgerator is the official display case for all of Trice's artwork. His babysitter is fabulous and always does crafty things with her kids and him. I pretty much cry every day when I pick him up and he proudly shows me what he made .. and then attempts to destroy it before I can even get it to the car. He always shows his daddy when he gets home!
Anyway, all the turkeys came down off the fridge and now the Christmas-y projects are going up. I am practicing with my new camera, so I took one jillion pictures of Trice making tissue paper ornaments today. We LOVE sticky paper crafts ... he will seriously work on them all day long. He is so intrigued by the sticky paper and loves putting pieces on, pulling them off, getting them stuck to his feet, throwing them in the trash, attempting to rip the sticky paper off the window, sticking the tape to his tummy, sticking the tape to mommy's tummy, dropping the pieces of paper down the heat vent.. etc. etc. etc.
I'm so very sad .. I'm having issues getting pictures I take on my new camera to load on here correctly. If they are vertical, blogger wants to turn them sideways (even though they are saved vertically on the computer). I attempted to picmonkey them, but that made them look crazy.. boo! So you're going to miss out on all the other cute pictures from this little craft! :(
Today I needed something to occupy Trice for a bit so poor baby Amelia could have a break from him sitting on her and hugging her face off.. I knew stickiness and tissue paper would do the trick!
And Amelia thought it looked like fun, so she made one for mommy and daddy!
He also made tape-resist candy canes, but I didn't take any pictures of that.. they are super duper cute, though! My list of projects I want to accomplish before Christmas keeps growing (darn you, Pinterest) ... and I'm running out of time. There's always next year, right?!
Maybe I should stop and attempt to finish our Christmas card and letter ... but you should be used to getting them in February by now!
