Annual Christmas {Letter}

I literally spend half the year looking forward to writing our annual Christmas letter. This year marked our 3rd annual letter. After last year's letter which announced our pregnancy, I really didn't know what to do this year. Since the birth of our precious baby boy was the thrill of our 2012, this is what I came up with... Enjoy! I already have big plans for 2013!

Twas the night before August in a hospital room

They waited and waited from sun until moon.

A daddy watched over a mommy with care,

In hopes that a baby soon would be there.

The sun rose the next morning and weary parents did, too,

The doc promised a baby before the day was through.

And mommy in her gown and daddy in his jammies,

Called up the family -- the grandpa and grammies.

Many hours later to the OR they went;

Good lucks, well wishes, and many prayers sent.

At 12:15pm a loud cry filled the air,

7 pounds 9 ounces and a full head of hair.

An instant love for this newborn child,

Blue-eyed and alert – sure to be wild.

When the families first held him it was very clear,

Trice Steven Edwards is our greatest gift this year!

{26} Candles

Little behind on blogging... but hey, I'm not sure anyone ever reads anymore anyway so most likely no one will notice!

Benny turned 26 years old on the 22nd. We were hoping Chipper would make his arrival that day but he had other plans. I suppose that's okay. The morning started off as a failure as I cried because I wanted to be home meeting Chipper and I forgot I was going to make Benny cinnamon rolls. However, the day ended awesome!

Benny got this text in the middle of the day...

Trice got his daddy a card and the Willow Tree angel "New Dad" to add to our growing collection... Trice is so sweet!

And, this is what Benny got from me..

Aww.. isn't that cute?!

We went out to supper at Smokin' Jakes .. we received horrible service, but the food was delish. Before we left we attempted to get a nice family photo. We succeeded...
