Eliana {Two} Months

Weight: We weighed her and got about 13 lbs.. but apparently that wasn't accurate.

Length: ???

Likes: Piano Toy, Being Swaddled, Black and White Pictures, Trice's Voice, Having her butt patted, Being naked,  Ceiling fans, Mirrors (chatting with the cute baby she sees), Zerberts

Dislikes: Car Seat, Any time the car stops moving, 9pm, Daddy trying to put her to sleep

Exciting Events: Met lots of relatives, Dedication at church, First trip to the zoo, First trip to Corning

Milestones: Smiling, bats at objects, coos and squeals, trying very hard to roll over, gripping objects

Eating Patterns: Eats every 2 hours during the day

Sleeping: Sleeps like a champ - can't be our child. Sleeps 9-4:30 or 10-5 and then back to sleep until around 7:30. Takes a  morning nap, long afternoon nap, and quick evening nap.

Trice's Thoughts: He LOVES Eliana. He's very protective -- always worried we are going to leave her somewhere. He nurses his baby doll and takes care of it and imitates everything I do with Eliana. He's still jealous when mommy pays attention to her, but he's starting to enjoy "playing" with her, too.

Oh sweet girl - you bring so much joy to this mama's heart.

Hospital Bag

I packed much differently this time than last time .. it helped to know what we used last time and what we didn't. I also went off the recommendations from our Bradley instructor.

Delivery Bag: Aka Everything I might need during labor and delivery

Food for me during labor and for Nick whenever:
Granola Bars, Honey Straws, Hard Candy, Gatorade, Orange Juice (for after delivery .. and we forgot it at home.. but the hospital had some)

Camera

Notebook and Pen (for keeping track of any details)

Slipper Socks

Handheld Back Massager

Swim suit for Nick

Comfy shorts for Nick

Bradley Book

Headband and Hair Tie

Bible

Chapstick

Mints

Baby/Parent Bag:

One Boy Sleeper (knew this wasn't getting used)

Two Girl Sleepers (because I KNEW it was a girl)

Gender Neutral Blanket

Girl Blanket

Going Home Outfit (only difference for boy/girl was the pants and headband vs hat)

Nursing Tank

Nursing Bra

Maternity Leggings

Yoga Pants

Personal Hygiene Bag -- I prefer face wipes while in the hospital rather than dealing with washing my face!

Cyclone shirts for us to wear home

I tossed in a few hats/headbands (for photo ops, of course)

Extras

Gifts for my nurses and doctors

I think that's all.. still had more than I needed, but a lot less than last time!
